singlehood.
hello darlings. taking a break from studyin and update u all abit on life in Oz. finish 2 practical papers last week got 4 theory to go. 20 june i will be free.!! yeah!! and then MElBouRNE here i COME!!
haha. anyways. me and isaac. last night we were tokin into the wee hrs and we were tokin abt wat will happen when we graduate. no matter who gradutes first. there will be a period of 6 months when we will be apart. den we tok tok tok and suddenly ask why 2 ppl are together. so i said probably the desire for intimacy. and den we started to wonder wat it will be like for the 2 of us to be friends. so we tok tok tok and decided that we will break up on the 18th of june and remain as close frens. so effectively we would have dated for 10 months. hehe
i think we seem a little crazy his hse mates think we are. but i think it will be good thing. so u all comment also?
the rationale.
we dun really have a foundation of being jus frens. and it is kind of important to have that we feel.
if after 3 years we graduate. there is a high chance of us being sick of each other and when we return to sg in the land of many many more fishes in the sea anything can happen. and he knows he is someone that might get sick of something easily.
also we are in the prime of our lives and being together sort of sucks us into a zone of jus the 2 of us. like we stop lookin at the world ard us and getting to know other ppl.
and also there are dreams tt sometimes can only be achieved during singlehood cos when u have another person in ur life. u tend to acommodate the person and give up on some life plans.
in the long term, if something does go wrong it will be so much harder to forgive and forget cos "U HV BEEN TOGETHER FOR 3 Yrs how can u blah blah all that kind of thing." so its like takin a step back and learning new things.
haha.. i think all these like very werid.but i think it will be good for the both of us i think u all think i am crazy... haha...
i do feel abit sad and scared abt breakin up.. but at least its not those i hate u forever kind of break up. most likely we will end up back together in years to come but jus not now.
